The project for today was completing the nest boxes for the chickens. The previous owners had built the two shelves. I put the dividing walls in to make individual nests. Hopefully the walls will also help with an unfortunate tendency of the chickens to roost on the edge of the shelfs.

Unfortunately, we can build many things for our chickens, but we can't make them smart enough to use them properly.
Nice looking nests, though! I'd lay an egg there, if I was a dumb chicken.
And damn, what can I do to get on that sweet helpers slide show?
